Intelsat Partners with iKO Media Group for ‘Faith Beyond’ Broadcasting Service
Intelsat is collaborating with iKO Media Group (iKOMG) to enhance the company’s latest service aimed at faith-based broadcasters. iKOMG, specializing in teleport and cloud services for broadcasters, will introduce ‘Faith Beyond’ via Intelsat’s Galaxy 19 (G-19) satellite, known for its free-to-air, direct-to-home coverage in North America. The agreement was revealed by Intelsat on June 17.
iKOMG’s new service, customized for faith-based broadcasters, offers comprehensive distribution and engagement functionalities by combining satellite broadcasting, OTT streaming, live events, cloud-native playout, and metadata management into a unified platform.
Intelsat has recently incorporated audience measurement features into its advanced VideoNow electronic program guide (EPG) for G-19, a move towards enabling ad-monetization in the direct-to-home (DTH) free-to-air (FTA) satellite video market.
