Intelsat and iKO Media Group’s New Offering for Faith-Based Broadcasters
Intelsat is collaborating with iKO Media Group (iKOMG) to introduce a specialized new service for faith-based broadcasters. iKOMG, known for its teleport and cloud services, will launch ‘Faith Beyond’ through Intelsat’s Galaxy 19 (G-19) satellite. G-19, a free-to-air platform, caters to audiences in North America. The agreement was disclosed on June 17.
The ‘Faith Beyond’ service by iKOMG is fully managed to cater to the unique requirements of faith-based broadcasters. It offers a comprehensive distribution and engagement system that combines satellite broadcasting, OTT streaming, live events, cloud-native playout, and metadata management.
Intelsat has recently enhanced its VideoNow electronic program guide (EPG) on G-19 with audience measurement features, a move towards ad-monetization in the direct-to-home (DTH) free-to-air (FTA) satellite video market.
