AWS customers will now have access to KSAT’s global satellite ground station network and operation services, along with the services and tools of AWS.

Kongsberg Satellite Services (KSAT), a leader in satellite communications and data services, has expanded its collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to provide enhanced solutions for space mission applications.

This strengthened partnership integrates KSAT’s extensive satellite ground station network with AWS’s cloud infrastructure, offering seamless access to global satellite connectivity and cloud-based services for mission operators.

By incorporating AWS Ground Station capabilities, KSAT aims to revolutionize satellite data delivery and processing, providing scalable and flexible services along with a broader global ground network access through a unified interface.

Through this collaboration, KSAT will now offer faster onboarding and improved access to comprehensive satellite ground communication infrastructure for new and existing commercial customers. Mission operators can benefit from round-the-clock support and specialized services while leveraging AWS’s secure cloud environment.
