Jigawa State Governor, Umar Namadi, welcomed a delegation from the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), The Peace Institute (TPI), and other collaborating organizations at the Government House in Dutse. The state is now home to a pioneering Digital Literacy Training Camp in Hadejia.

The three-week program, launched on July 29, has set its sights on training 1,050 primary school students and boosting the digital proficiency of 30 teachers. The endeavor aims to provide the upcoming generation with necessary skills to excel in the digital age, meeting the needs of a rapidly transforming knowledge-based economy.

The educational endeavor in Hadejia represents a significant stride towards broadening digital access in marginalized regions, opening doors for young scholars to develop a digital fluency that aligns them to global competitiveness.
