Realme’s Strategic Portfolio Reboot for Growth in 2025 and 2026

In a bid to drive growth in the latter half of 2025 and 2026, Realme has implemented a strategic portfolio reboot in India, focusing on its key series – the GT, Number, and P Series. Francis Wong, Realme India’s CMO, highlighted the brand’s move towards a simplified product lineup and the shift towards premium models.
Realme removed the ‘Plus’ variants from the Realme 15 series, enhancing the ‘Pro’ models with top-tier features. The GT Series targets premium innovation, the Number Series serves as the offline backbone, and the P Series leads the online-first strategy.
Realme secured the fourth position in India’s smartphone market in the April-June 2025 quarter but experienced a slight decline in market share from the previous year. Despite this, Realme is focusing on boosting offline sales with key models contributing significantly to its shipments.
Expanding into the ultra-premium segment, Realme introduced the GT 7 Dream Edition, catering to younger audiences with its premium features. The brand is leveraging AI in the GT-series to strengthen its premium market position.
Realme’s revised product strategy aims to democratize the premium experience and drive growth through a more simplified and focused lineup.
