Cisco Surpasses AI Infrastructure Orders Goal in Record Performance

Cisco exceeded its goal by reaching over $2 billion in AI infrastructure orders in fiscal 2025, surpassing the initial target of $1 billion. In fiscal 2026, Cisco secured two significant orders from webscalers, each amounting to $1 billion, showing promising growth prospects.

The company anticipates a record-breaking performance in fiscal 2026, with revenue projections ranging between $59-$60 billion for the year. The fiscal fourth quarter of 2025 showcased Cisco’s strong results, with an 8% increase in revenues year-over-year, reaching $14.7 billion.

Notably, orders for Q4 of 2025 witnessed a 7% rise from the previous year, with AI infrastructure orders from hyperscalers exceeding $800 million, contributing to a total surpassing $2 billion for the year.

Looking ahead, Cisco foresees continued revenue growth, building on the solid foundation established in fiscal 2025. CEO Chuck Robbins highlighted the network’s evolving needs due to AI advancements, emphasizing the necessity for major network upgrades.

Robbins emphasized Cisco’s technological prowess by citing the $2 billion AI infrastructure orders from hyperscalers, showcasing the company’s relevance in the market.

The company observed a decline of 6% in public sector orders but reported a substantial 49% increase in service provider and cloud customer orders compared to 2024. Webscale orders notably drove growth, marking their fourth consecutive quarter of triple-digit increase.
