This initiative, officially named the Submarine Cable Project, aims to connect Zamboanga City to Isabela City through a high-capacity 175-kilometre subsea cable featuring 48 cores. The network will also link municipalities such as Basilan and Sulu, making Isabela City a strategic regional hub for advanced internet services. The Submarine Cable Project aligns seamlessly with the company’s broader efforts to support the nation’s digital transformation and empower communities through connectivity. Major Investments for Modernizing Network Infrastructure

To date, the company has migrated more than 600 towns across 70 provinces to full fibre broadband, ensuring faster and more reliable connectivity for millions of Filipinos. With substantial investments exceeding PHP 228 billion in capital expenditure and PHP 236 billion in operating expenditure, Globe is proactively future-proofing its infrastructure to meet rising data demands.
