Indonesia’s AI Center of Excellence Boosted by Indosat, Cisco, and Nvidia

Indonesian telecom operator Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, along with Cisco and Nvidia, is collaborating to support the creation of Indonesia’s AI Center of Excellence (CoE). This initiative led by the Ministry of Communications and Digital Affairs aims to develop secure AI technologies, nurture local talent, and foster innovation with the aid of startups. The new Nvidia AI Technology Center within the AI center will offer research partnerships, training programs, and startup assistance. The AI facility’s focus areas include building secure AI infrastructure, protecting digital assets, expanding AI access, and training in networking, cybersecurity, and AI skills. With global support, Indonesia is gearing up its AI capabilities for economic growth. The collaboration targets to empower Indonesians to not only use AI but also create innovations in the field.
