Venture capital firm Cactus Partners has spearheaded a $7 million investment in Brandworks Technologies, an electronics design-led manufacturing company based in India. The funding round, which also included Gujarat Venture Finance Limited, Legacy Assets, and the Hira Group, aims to fuel the expansion and enhancement of Brandworks’ R&D centers, forge strategic partnerships in international markets, and develop cutting-edge product lines prioritizing performance, sustainability, and global standards.
Brandworks plans to boost manufacturing capabilities by introducing efficient production lines, while augmenting innovation through the recruitment of top engineering, design, and operations professionals.
The investment marks Cactus Partners’ third foray into the manufacturing sector, highlighting the growth potential of the electronics manufacturing industry buoyed by initiatives such as ‘Make in India’ and evolving supply chains and geopolitical dynamics.
