Cactus Partners Leads $7M Funding Round in Brandworks Technologies
New Delhi: Venture capital firm Cactus Partners has led a $7 million funding round in electronics design-led manufacturing company Brandworks Technologies. The financing also involved Gujarat Venture Finance Limited (GVFL), Legacy Assets, and the Hira Group.
Brandworks Technologies intends to utilize the capital for expanding and enhancing its research and development facilities, establishing partnerships and client connections in key global markets, and investing in next-gen product platforms focusing on performance, sustainability, and global benchmarks.
The firm also plans to expand manufacturing through advanced production lines and reinforce its innovation capabilities by recruiting top engineering, design, and operational experts according to the released statement.
Cactus Partners (CPL), an early-growth VC fund, spearheaded a $7 million Series A round in Brandworks Technologies Pvt Ltd, a swiftly growing electronics design-led manufacturing company based in India, renowned for transforming concepts into market-ready goods.
This investment with Brandworks marks CPL’s eleventh investment and its third in the manufacturing domain.
Electronics manufacturing is anticipated to grow significantly due to initiatives like ‘Make in India’ and shifts in supply chains and geopolitics, remarked Amit Sharma, Cactus Partners’ general partner.
Brandworks Technologies offers solutions for AI hardware, IoT, high-tech audio systems, charging innovations, financial tech devices, surveillance systems, and green energy products. It collaborates with top global chip makers to develop solutions emphasizing design prowess, manufacturing excellence, and customer success.
This funding round is a stepping stone towards realizing Brandworks’ ambition to become a leading global player in electronics R&D and manufacturing.
