Kongsberg Satellite Services (KSAT), a global leader in satellite communications and data services, has expanded its partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to offer improved solutions for space missions. This collaboration integrates KSAT’s vast satellite ground station network with AWS’s cloud infrastructure, providing seamless access to global satellite connectivity and cloud-based services.
Through the integration of AWS Ground Station capabilities, KSAT aims to revolutionize satellite data delivery and processing, offering scalable and resilient services. This facilitates access to a broader global ground network through a unified interface, meeting the evolving needs of the space industry.
In the expanded partnership, KSAT will provide enhanced onboarding and improved access to satellite ground communication infrastructure for new and existing commercial customers. KSAT’s round-the-clock support, including Launch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP) services, combined with AWS’s secure cloud environment, will benefit mission operators.
