Google Cloud Announces TalayLink Subsea Cable to Connect Australia and Thailand

Google Cloud has officially revealed plans to build a groundbreaking subsea cable system, named TalayLink, as part of its Australia Connect initiative. This cutting-edge infrastructure will link Australia to Thailand, filling a crucial gap in connectivity across the Indo-Pacific region and further solidifying Google Cloud’s position as a global leader in network technology. The TalayLink subsea route is designed to cross the Indian Ocean west of the Sunda Strait, providing a reliable and diverse path into Thailand’s expanding digital ecosystem.
