Nigeria’s Digital Transformation Partnership with Google

Nigeria is making significant strides in its digital transformation journey through a collaborative effort between NITDA and Google. Director General Kashifu Inuwa and Google’s VP Marcus Jadotte recently engaged with key government officials, including Ministers of Interior, Communications, and Education, along with the National Security Adviser.
With a shared vision, NITDA and Google aim to position Nigeria as a pioneer in AI and cybersecurity within West Africa. Their primary objectives revolve around empowering students with essential digital skills, cultivating a workforce equipped for the future, and enhancing national productivity.
This strategic alliance is poised to not only attract foreign investments but also bolster national security through digital intelligence initiatives, fostering an environment conducive to inclusive economic growth.
