Orange Group Announces Executive Leadership Changes
The Orange Group has officially announced the appointment of Eng. Yasser Shaker as Executive Vice President and CEO of Orange Middle East and Africa, effective July 1, 2025. Shaker, currently CEO of Orange Egypt, will also join the Group’s Executive Committee.
In addition to his new regional role, Shaker has been appointed Chairman of Orange Egypt, effective August 1, 2025.
During his tenure as CEO of Orange Egypt, Shaker led the company through significant transformation, revitalizing growth, enhancing profitability, and solidifying Orange’s market position in Egypt’s competitive telecom sector.
Orange Middle East and Africa, operating in 18 countries, stands as a key growth engine within the Group.
This strategic leadership transition underscores Orange’s trust in Shaker’s 28 years of industry expertise and exceptional leadership journey.
