Vodacom Invests Over ZAR400 Million to Boost Connectivity in Eastern Cape

Vodacom Eastern Cape has announced a substantial investment of over ZAR400 million (US$22 million) to expand network coverage, improve capacity, and bring reliable connectivity to rural areas across the region. This significant financial commitment underscores the telecommunications giant’s dedication to enhancing digital accessibility, particularly for underdeveloped communities in South Africa. Breaking Down the Investment Plan

As part of its investment plan, Vodacom has earmarked ZAR38 million specifically for modernizing its network infrastructure. Additionally, ZAR87 million is set aside for capacity expansion to handle the increasing volume of online traffic efficiently.
